Jamie Lee Curtis said on Instagram that she and Lindsay Lohan ended the workweek by having a long-awaited reunion.
"Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY! Well, it's Friday, and the strike is over so hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future! @lindsaylohan @disney," shared Curtis in the caption. The post included a sweet photo of the actresses smiling as they looked straight into the camera.
"There would be nothing I would love more, honestly, than to be able to work with her again, share our time again, and now be able to share it at this age with both of us 20 years older, or whatever we are," she said.

Curis has expressed her interest to make a follow-up film to Freaky Friday. On her appearance on The View, she mentioned how she would love to play an "old grandma who switches bodies" with Lohan.
"So then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma, who is still happy with Mark Harmon in all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon. And simply, I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today. I wanna be a helicopter parent in today's world, as an old lady."
The two have maintained a close friendship. After Lohan welcomed her son Luai with her husband Bader Shammas in July, Curtis sent the couple children's books.
