During an appearance on 'TMZ Live' on Monday, Mike explained the infamous incident where he headbutted a cement wall on camera. He revealed that this act was a result of the withdrawal symptoms he was experiencing at that time. Reflecting on his past behaviors, Mike considers himself fortunate to have survived. Mike also revealed that the MTV team frequently approached him during filming, offering assistance. Eventually, his addiction had become so severe that he faced an ultimatum from the production.
When asked about the lowest point of his journey, he said that the experience of trying a new drug was his true rock bottom - his encounter with heroin. With eight years of sobriety under his belt, he is now sharing his story.
