Check out NovelPro Junkie’s interview with Araminta Hall, author of Imperfect Women and an executive producer on the series, by clicking HERE!
Moss and Washington both starred in and executive produced the first season and will return as executive producers for Season 2.
There is no sequel to Imperfect Women, meaning Season 2 will move beyond Araminta Hall’s source material. The second season will be based on an original story by series creator Annie Weisman and Justin Hillian, who will also serve as co-showrunners. Season 2 will also shift the story to a new location, moving away from Los Angeles, where the first season was set.
Here is Kerry Washington's statement about the announcement of Imperfect Women Season 2:
“We were thrilled to see how deeply these women and their stories resonated with audiences around the world, and I’m so excited to step back into Eleanor’s shoes. She’s intelligent and strong, but she also finds herself navigating complicated and sometimes messy situations. We at Simpson Street along with our incredible partners at Apple and Love & Squalor Pictures can’t wait to explore a fresh chapter for her and share where this story takes us next.”
