Prime Video has released a remake of Stephen King’s debut and widely popular novel "Carrie" with Mike Flanagan’s eight-episode miniseries. Since its premiere, the horror adaptation has dominated the streaming platform’s global rankings for more than a week, outperforming titles such as the book-based hit series "Reacher" and its spin-off "Neagley".
According to FlixPatrol, the miniseries rose to the top of the platform’s worldwide TV rankings shortly after its debut and has maintained its position for more than a week. As of October 16, it continues to lead the charts, with Neagley, Reacher, book-base series "Off Campus", and Helluva Boss following to complete the global Top 5.
The series’ success extends beyond the worldwide rankings. Carrie currently ranks as Prime Video’s No. 1 title in 17 countries, making it more popular than any other film or series on the platform in those markets. FlixPatrol reports that these countries include the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil.
