As for my second novel, i'm almost finished with my first draft. I still won't reveal the title. All I can say is that it's a zombie story that isn't really like your average zombie story. Another secret i will expose to you now is that it's set in high school. So the main character is a teenager. So expect the typical school drama with a twist. That's all i'm going to say for now. The story is going well but the conclusion is hard to wrap up. I'm struggling to write a scene that involve my main character in a tight spot with Zombies!!!!( okay i wouldn't go any further than that). This book i'm writing has nothing to do with end of the world or millions of flesh eating zombies roaming around the earth or a pack of people trying to get somewhere, across the united state, to save someone or get to a safety zone. This story is different, it has a "down to earth" feel to it, nothing extravagant but definitely interesting and intriguing. Hopefully it will be available sometime in the summer.
Just for no apparent reason i checked to see what movies (based on books) would be coming out this in summer of 2011 and i was surprised to find out that there were only three movies. I wish it was more than that. I guess people wouldn't be reading as much books in order to check out the movie. The only one out of the three that am interested in is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part deux. From the trailer it seemed the movie had its own conclusion different from the book so i'm interested to see whether those changes would make for a better movie or just ruined the story in general.
So overall, am still busy with my second novel(a different take of zombie-themed story). House Trap is now shipped at the major retailer and it's only a matter of time before it will be available(hopefully it will be available before May ends), and the only book related movie that am looking forward to is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part deux. I really hope J.K.Rowling would write a prequel or a spin-off of the tale like Stephenie meyer did to her twilight saga i.e. Midnight Sun and the short second life of bree tanner. (p.s. i don't count tale of beetle the bard as a spin-off). I wonder why it's taking her so long to release another book?
