"The In-Between" delves into Vlahos' personal experiences as she vividly recalls the profound encounters she has had with the individuals she has cared for. From the remarkable story of a woman who unwaveringly embraced her faith until the end, to an elderly man who glimpsed visions of his departed daughter, and a young patient who regretted wasting her limited time worrying about others' opinions – Vlahos shares these remarkable journeys while also recounting her own captivating path.
While no writer has been attached to the project yet, Vlahos will serve as an executive producer for the series. Published by Ballantine/Penguin Random House in June 2023, her book quickly climbed the ranks and spent an impressive 14 weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.
