The memoir will dive into his early life growing up in the Bronx, recounting his time at the prestigious High School of Performing Arts in New York City. The book will not only trace Pacino's journey from experimental theater in New York to iconic roles and successful collaborations, but it will also provide an intimate look into his personal and professional life.
With a career spanning decades, Pacino has received nine Academy Award nominations for his outstanding performances in films such as book-based films The Godfather and The Irishman. He won an Oscar in 1992 for his role in Scent of a Woman.
"Sonny Boy: A Memoir" is set to hit shelves on October 8th and is currently available for pre-order.
