Mara Wilson posted a photo of the gathering on Instagram account, showing the trio smiling as they stood together in San Francisco, where the movie was filmed. Wilson hinted that they got together to record an episode for Lawrence's podcast called Brotherly Love, which he co-hosts with his brothers Andy and Joey Lawrence.

A decade after the passing of its lead star, Robin Williams, the cast reunited to honor their time working together. Over the years, many involved in the making of the film have praised Williams for his contributions to the project. Director Chris Columbus even mentioned that there is an R-rated version of the movie that showcases more of Williams' witty and uncensored improvisation skills.
