Netflix announced that it will be rebooting the 70s drama, book-based TV series "Little House on the Prairie." The reboot will be a reimaging of the series, which is based on a book series authored by Laura Ingalls Wilder. The reboot will be about Charles, his wife Caroline and their daughters Laura and Mary as they leave Wisconsin to settle in Independence, KS. The first season will follow the book "Little House on the Prairie" so expect to see the Osage characters.
Joy Gorman Wettels for Joy Coalition, Dana Fox, Susanna Fogel and Trip Friendly for Friendly Family Productions are all executive producers on the project. Rebecca Sonnenshine will step in as the showrunner and executive producer.
