Legendary Television To Adapt ‘Murdle’ Mystery Book Series

Legendary Television has secured the rights to "Murdle," a series of murder mystery puzzles authored by G. T. Karber, in order to create a scripted TV adaptation. The concept was brought to Legendary by Pacesetter Productions, which aims to establish an entire Murdle universe for  both films and unscripted series following their acquisition of the book. Jon Croker (book-based film "Paddington") will write the adaptation. Details about the series' logline is not publicly known yet. 

Murdle has introduced a new franchise that features a recent board game titled "Murdle: The Case of the Cover Up." Two more books are on the horizon: "Murdle: The School of Mystery" and a children's spinoff called "Murdle, Jr.: Curious Crimes for Curious Minds."

The series will be produced by Legendary, in collaboration with Pacesetter’s head, Jessica Rhoades, and her executive vice president, Alison Mo Massey. Karber will take on the role of Executive Producer, working alongside Croker, Pacesetter, and Legendary to develop the series.
