Sony is adapting Jennifer L. Armentrout’s book series—featuring the From Blood and Ash novels, into a television series.
The project is planned as an ongoing series covering the five Blood and Ash books: From Blood and Ash, A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire, The Crown of Gilded Bones, The War of Two Queens, and A Soul of Ash and Blood.
The From Blood and Ash TV adaptation is centered on five books but has the potential to expand in a similar way to boo-based TV series Outlander. Jennifer L. Armentrout is set to release a sixth installment, The Primal of Blood and Bone, in 2025. There’s already a prequel spinoff series, which consists of four books: A Shadow in the Ember, A Light in the Flame, A Fire in the Flesh, and Born of Blood and Ash.
